Water sprinkling system

Our optional water sprinkling system to reduce air-borne dust at the filling area offers a central water pipe with four nozzles in the enclosed hopper with suction point which can be easily activated via the control panel or the remote control. The system is designed for year-round use (down to -25°C).

FIRE PREVENTION SYSTEM (FPS)

Leave nothing to chance: this modern out-of-the-box Lindner FPS solution automatically detects and cools overheated particles in the waste stream while they are still on the conveyor, effectively preventing
possible sources of fire.

ACTIVE HEAT DETECTION & AUTOMATED COOLING

To avoid possible sources of fire, the IR sensor (1) detects the waste streams’ temperature on the conveyor belt right after it has passed the shredder. In this way, overheated particles are reliably detected and the cooling process triggered. In sync with the conveyor belt speed, the water nozzles (2) are activated one after the other and the temperature is lowered to below the preset threshold value.

SAFETY FIRST WITH OUR CONTROL SENSOR

The 2nd sensor unit at the upper end of the discharge belt (3) provides additional safety. If the temperature is too high, the heat source is automatically stopped under the last water nozzle, the shredder comes to a halt and the alarm is triggered.

As a heated container solution with Plug&Go connections, the Lindner FPS can be quickly installed in almost any environment. Thanks to its fully integratable, compact design, it can be easily retrofitted in existing facilities.

The Lindner MIS reads out all relevant data straight from the facility‘s machines and displays them clearly.
Using the collated data, the software generates daily reports that can be sent via email and shared with employees on noticeboards.
Additionally, the system‘s long-term analysis makes it possible to identify recurrent errors or trends so that processes can be optimized and productivity increased.
